Where Women Work

Where Women Work is a website that is specifically aimed at helping women enter/return/in the workforce. It offers a range of support services and links that can help you get information and negotiate your place in the workforce.

Women’s One to One Learning (WOOL)

The Women’s One to One Learning (WOOL) program engages volunteer mentors trained in adult learning principles to coach clients in the pursuit of their personal learning goals, which in turn will enhance and improve levels of literacy and numeracy biging to more engagement with community and better quality of life. TAFE Women’s Education Course

The Certificates in Women’s Education aim to:

  • increase women’s knowledge of the workforce and opportunities available;
  • develop relevant skills and confidence to enable them to take up those opportunities;
  • develop skills in effective communication and employability;
  • provide a pathway to further education and training.

For students who are eligible for a funded training place, the Certificate II in Women’s Education is fee free, and Certificate III or IV have a subsidised fee ($1.00 per curriculum hour). For more information on eligibility for this course, visit the Work Ready website.
